The 2010 conference is the 6th National Biennial Conference, and is expected to attract over
400 delegates.
The Conference is a highly-important and well-regarded scientific and evidence-based practice meeting, providing a forum in which current topics on the national agenda, and subjects of interest to infection control professionals, can be addressed.
AICA is the peak national body representing the interests of the specialist practice of infection prevention and control within
Australia. AICA represents the collaboration between the State and Territory infection control Associations in
Australia. AICA seeks to support those engaged in the specialist practice of infection control, as well as the broader health care community, in relation to infection control by acting as an information broker to its members. As a voluntary not-for-profit
Association AICA serves as an important vehicle for clinician lead change.
